This is our basic child sized uniform jacket which is suitable for beginning fencers.  The jacket is made of 90% cotton and 10% nylon (which is a stretch-panel in the back of the jacket which allows more freedom of movement than an all-cotton jacket.)  

This jacket features a Front Zip closure, making it much better for an independent minded fencer - easy on and easy off.  The cotton body makes this jacket feel less hot than an all-synthetic jacket which can sometimes retain heat.

Because this jacket is cotton, it will shrink a little (mostly in length) when washed.  Hang dry only!

To size for this jacket: Take a chest measurement all the way around, just under the armpits. Add 6 inches, and this will give you your jacket size. If you come to an odd number, since we only have even sizes, always round up.

I.e. Your child has a 25 inch chest measurement. Add 6 inches, and you get 31... which mean's you'll need Size 32 (Small) for this jacket
