Lightweight pin-stripe lamé jackets (Worn here by Camille Datoo, top UK Foilist). This new lamé is made from a super fine weave through are high strength single filament polymer base impregnated with silver. Machine washable on a delicate cycle at 30 degrees.

The fabrics construction means it can be thiner than normal lamé while still being highly resistant to wear and snagging. Not only is it lightweight it is also much more flexible allowing far greater freedom of movement. A standard size 38 foil lamé weighs 352g whereas our lightweight lamé weighs 201g.

This jacket is cut to fit comfortably over a normal fencing jacket. It is made from durable lame with a waterproof lining. Our lamé jackets are designed with enough extra room in them to fit over a standard jacket so you should take the same size lamé as your jacket (it is possible that if you have a stretch jacket that is very tight that you will need a size larger but this is rare).
