The 2009 model of the AF Elite fencing shoes are a great looking basic fencing shoe. The wrap over toe are protects against wear on the back foot from aggressive lunging. If you have a powerful lunge, we do recommend that you purchase a hard heel cup to provide extra cushioning for your heel. (We've found that all of the fencing shoes in the sub-100 range need the heel cup.)

Fencing shoes come with Men's shoe size only. If you have women's shoe size, it is normally one size different with men's. (For example, women's 7 is about same as men's 6).
