StM epee blades are manufactured with a wide base for optimum weight apportionment, allowing the fencer to "feel" the point and manipulate the weapon easily, which is of special importance for professionals.
#5 is the standard adult size. #2 is a youth blade recommended for youth under 10. |

Features
- A standard rigidity test established by the SEMI FIE Technical Commission using an 80 gram weight gives the bend of 45 to 55 mm for epee blades.
- StM-FIE labeled blades have been certified by the SEMI FIE Technical Commission; they are officially registered by the FIE International Fencing Federation and recommended for usage in any official competitions including World Cup stages, World Championships and the Olympic Games.
- The average wear before breaking on these blades when submitted for FIE testing was 21,043 cycles (blade bends), which is more than three times better than the FIE requirements.
