This kit contains a german insulated epee wire as a number of our customers were having problems with the cotton insulation for the LP wires getting snagged and causing their epees to short out. If you prefer the Leon Paul wire, please note that in your order comments.

These Leon Paul Point Screws are available for use in Leon Paul Foil and Epee points. These point screws are also compatible with many other epee points as well.
The Leon Paul screws are threaded with a Class A cut - sharp edges that hold to the point and ensure a tighter fit, which means less chance of them coming loose over time.
Most other point screws on the market are far softer and threaded with a Class B cut - the threads are rounded off and they have a looser fit which is more prone to loosening and falling out over time.
The Leon Paul Point Screws are compatible with Sport 7 French and Uhlmann German epee points.
