My foil came with an Absolute blade which was pleasant. I was expecting a cheap made in China blade. (Although the description doesn't specify Absolute, so it may possibly change later, I thought it would be fair to mention that.)
As far as beginner gloves go, this is a really great glove. Compared to another Chinese made beginner glove I have, the padding is thick, the material is flexible, and comfortable. It was rather snug when I first got it, but it's starting to wear in nicely.
I am a little wary of wear, though. My last glove (nice glove) and my now-secondary Chinese glove both have extra layers/padding on the palm side of the thumb and index finger, but this one does not. (I use French grip.)
Overall good gear for a beginner who just wants to practise with wants something to call their own, but not yet willing to drop too much on equipment until improvement warrants it.

I recommend this to all beginners who aren't sure they want to buy a full beginner set yet. It's really nice to have your own weapon and glove.
The glove is comfortable and has a large cuff, so it can fit an oversized jacket.
The foil is light and well balanced.
Both the glove and the foil much nicer than what most clubs have for beginners.
