| The StM FIE Epee with French Grip is built with a non-marging FIE epee blade. This french grip epee comes with a wide range of grip styles and you can also choose from various upgrades of bell guard, socket and point. StM blades are well balanced and are in the midpoint between flexibility and durability. This blade is more durable than the standard StM epee blade, but costs less than a maraging steel StM blade, so you save a bit of your cash.
These came factory wired with StM German style epee point, but we didn't like the glue jobs and didn't like the point. (It is a little shorter than a standard FWF epee point.) We ripped out the StM factory wiring and have rewired the blades to German (FWF) or Leon Paul epee points plus our Premium Spaghetti Tubing to make it a better epee for you.
These epee blades meet the FIE requirements for durability but are made from non-maraging steel. The FIE-N blades have passed through a certification by the SEMI FIE technical committee. They are officially registered by FIE and recommended for use on any official competitions including international World Cup events, the World Championships, and the Olympic Games. |
