The padding in the Armor2 glove is a little stiff in the wrist, so I'm not really interested in using it for competition. The extra padding is really nice to have when being hit is part of your job. Not only is the back of the hand padded, the entire back of the hand (including the fingers) is protected, and the cuff is padded too. The padding on the fingers is light enough that it doesn't interfere with manipulating the weapon at all.
There is a lot of velcro on the cuff, and it's sewn on very well.
The whole glove just exudes an air of quality construction and solidity. It feels really well made, and it's really comfortable.
While I find the other Armor gloves ugly, I think this glove is really attractive in black. Everything on this glove is midnight black, the thread, the velcro, the elastic, everything.
There is no other glove I would rather use for coaching, and I think this glove is a steal at $25
