This new German Superstrong foil barrel comes from FWF in Germany.

This new foil point barrel is backwards compatible with standard German (FWF) foil point tips, springs, and screws but with two important benefits.

1. Because of the thicker barrel wall, screws are now flush with the barrel and don't stick out
2. Improved durability as the thicker wall prevents barrel dings which could impact point travel.
