Contact springs for German (FWF) epee points. These stainless steel contact springs will work for any German epee tip and also work well on Leon Paul tips.

The contact spring is used to bridge the contact points on the epee wire within the epee point. Oftentimes the springs will need to be adjusted so that the epee will pass the small shims. Sometimes the spring is over-tightened, causing the spring to fail to make contact with the epee wire contacts, resulting in an inability of the epee to register a touch. In those cases, a new contact spring will be needed.
